Monthly meetings are held from September to May, with meeting locations moved throughout the three Grant County communities of Ashby, Hyannis, and Whitman. The membership derives from business and ranching communities and boasts an average membership of 25.

The chamber sponsors or organizes several activities during the year. Some of these are the Grant County Fair/Rodeo BBQ, the Santa Train, Easter Egg Hunt, the Nebraska Community Improvement Program for Grant County, Teacher Appreciation Day, Golf Workshop, and the Hyannis Old Timers Rodeo (a joint effort with the Knights of Columbus).

The organization also contributes financially to the After Prom Party, Hyannis High School Scholarship, West Central Sandhills Education Foundation Scholarship, Kids Can! Pre-School, Health Fair, and the Windmill Country Celebration only to mention a few.
