From the President's Desk
Greetings Pullers and Fans,
The annual meeting of the PVTP was held on January 30, 2010, in Ogallala, NE, at
Valentino's. At that time, elections were held and I was RAILROADED into being your
2010 President. Thanks a bunch! Other lucky officers were: Vice President - Alvin
Van Briggle, Secretary/Treasurer - Regina Andrijeski, Points Keeper - Larry Linstrom
and Pull Promoter - Dick Hasenauer.
Some changes that were voted on during the annual meeting were changing the weight divisions on the tractors to go every 500 lbs instead of every 1000 lbs up to 10,500 lb division. Also on the pickups to change the weight division on the 2WD and 4WD, gas or diesel, to be 6500 & under instead of 8500 and under. The Poorman's Division in the tractors was also removed.
We all know members who have become inactive for whatever reasons. I am asking that each one of us, as active members, get in touch with some of these pullers and personally invite them to some of the pulls. Hopefully, we can get our membership strong again.
