It is located on Nebraska Highway 2, just a couple of blocks west of Nebraska Highway 97 junction. The Merritt Reservoir is one of the many camping and boating areas in the Nebraska State Parks system. Merritt is located approximately 40 miles north of Mullen on Nebraska Highway 97. The area offers both standard and RV camping facilities. One can fish for many varieties including Walleye, Perch, Blue Gill, and Northern Pike as well as many other species.
