Fr. Jim Warner is the
pastor of the St.Mary's and Missions parishes at Mullen, Thedford, and Hyannis.
He is originally from Greeley, NE, and prior to coming to St. Mary's, he served at
Ord, NE.
Father Warner
travels many miles on the highways of the Sandhills to serve his
three parishes. Although this doesn't leave him a lot of spare time, he likes to keep
busy with work and hobbies. |

| Perhaps his love of windsurfing played
some part in his coming to the Sandhills, where the wind is often more than accommodating.
He enjoys other sports as well, including tennis, volleyball, and golf. He is a lively conversationalist who
is interested in discussing most any topic--- from tourism to politics to anecdotes from
growing up in a large family. He is widely read and is a stimulating intellectual presence
in our communities.
Parishioners have learned that he is well-versed in Church history, and every sermon
is enlightening on some interesting fact about the early Church, the Bible, Catholic dogma and traditions,
or origins of Biblical names.
He has often said that he likes to keep busy and, true to his word, he can be found
most weekdays doing building, roofing, painting, electrical, or woodworking projects.
